I guess a good place to start is why attempt to undertake this journey from the shores of the beautiful country of New Zealand, all the way to the UK on my little Honda CT110.
Well I had worked in London for years for an amazing company that helped grow my career and shape me as a person. What a cool time I had there but I still felt as if I needed so do something more, see more, experience more!
So thanks to an amazing woman we set of traveling. For almost two years we spent our time seeing new things and meeting new people. It was an amazing ONCE in a life time trip. We worked along the way helping people out where we could and in turn they helped us. When I say helped I mean helped, with everything; accommodation, food, places to visit, things to do, and building us as people. All the experiences that we shared helped me to see that life is not all about material things and what you do with them, but by the people you share your story with. Whether that's the man in the gas station that shows you the way or the family that takes you in and makes you feel so welcome for no reason.
All these people should be celebrated because the world is a scary place at times but when you meet people like this day in and day out, you realise maybe it's not as scary as you first thought.
